Gina

Gina's gallery from 7th February 2003 to 10th October 2005 .... (Updated 24th January 2006)

Gina made her first ever visit to the Highlands with her husband, staying here for a couple of days. Just a few months later, after only three shoots, Gina and I had the opportunity to go to a Fine Art Photographers meet outside New York. My thanks to Gina and her husband for trusting me, it proved a memorable trip.

As well as taking photographs, I also acted as chaperone for Gina on shoots with 4 other photographers, and a day group shoot for 6. It was an interesting experience to stand back and watch others work! The final day I had agreed to accompany Gina on a shopping trip in New York, yet another interesting experience before flying out late that evening. We only met for the first time in February 2003, but it’s been a fruitful collaboration with more work to come.

In August 2003 the shoot was more experimental and indoors. Soon after this Gina anounced that she was pregnant, so Gina and husband Lee are expecting their first baby.

In May I saw Gina on route to Spain for a shoot with Maria. It was just before she was due, and pleased to report that a baby girl 'Verity' was born on 23rd May 2004. Once again on route to meet up with Maria for a Spanish shoot in November 2004, I stopped off at Gina's home in York. We did breast feeding pictures in the town, a restaurant and at home. They are for a picture library, and charity involved in the promotion of breast feeding. In October 2005 Gina, husband and baby came to stay at my house for a week, which resulted in some new pictures.
